CP "cApoy pResentation"

Case presentation is already part of our life as a student nurses.
It will be done on the last part of the semester.
During the “CP making” I have experienced a lot…
few hours of sleep it so difficult especially for a person
like me, which is maka MASA (MASAndal tulog) and
walkathon (pabilisan ng lakad) and spending time with my groupmates.

Finally the moment of truth has come (the day of our CP).
It was raining and was so cold in the gazzebo
(nisamot akong kakulba) but we've learned from the
first group who presented and found out that our CI
was not that strict. Our presentation run smoothly a
nd we successfully defend our case study (happy ako masyado!!!)
'coz I give my best during the presentation. Ma'am Ju imparted
to us her knowledge about the case and made some corrections
(we're thakfull for that, almost perfect na dyud among manuscript).

jAng gEum mAnia

JANG GEUM the character in a Korean movie Jewel in thePalace.
She was a daughter of a servant and a captain in the palace,
but her parents decided to leave the palace since the new king
was her father’s enemy. They lived a simple life outside the palace
like any other people. Suddenly the king sent his men to find
and kill her family, Jang Geum lost her parents and was the
only one who survived.Since then Jang Geum dreamed to
work in the palace like her parents and make a change.

I really like her b’coz she knows how to dream (to dream big)
and willing to do everything just to make her dreams come true.
Her simplicity and being her own self makes her shine among
other women in the palace and her natural talent (in cooking)
makes her one of the best. The “hope” in her heart that keeps her
going even if she failed in becoming the best chef in the palace
b’coz of the people pulling her down. And b’coz of her being
optimistic despite of this failure, Jang Geum was able to come up
with another idea where she can be able to use her talent, skills
and knowledge to help other people. Jang Geum became a “nurse”.
(her story was one of the reasons why I decided to take up nursing)
She taught me one important thing in life which is “you must only depend
on yourself, not on others”.
I admire her being strong despite of all the trials that came in her way.

Jang Geum is a survivor! Jang Geum Rulezzz!!!

There are lots of things I’d loved to do or hobbies
that would describe a little bit of my personality.
One of these, is I’m fond of watching “SCARY MOVIES”
not only that I also loved to read HORROR BOOKS
(Phil. Ghost Story Book, Haunted Phil.) name it
I love them all they give me an extraordinary excitement
and adds color to my wild and scary imagination (naks!).

But the very reason why I like doing this stuff is that
unknown to other people, I have a gift, an extra sense
where I can strongly feel extraordinary things and
I do believed that they really exist even in this modern world.
I discover this ‘gift’ when I was grade four (4)
where a very unforgettable experienced happened,
my first encounter of supernatural event.
Despite of my want to develop this given ‘gift’ still
I can’t for I don’t have the ‘guts’ to faced the
consequence of taking that action b’coz sad to say
I’m very (matatakutin as in!!!).

So since I can’t develop that ‘gift’ by exercising it
maybe I can find other way to give myself what
I want and that is by watching and reading (horror books)
which also gave me an idea what to do when I encounter such things.

Aside from that I also love singing and collecting
copies of songs which are not popular but beautiful.
I also have my own list of my favorite songs which
I can relate to my present feeling or condition of my heart
(#1 of my list is ‘you made me stronger’ by regine v.)
wanna know why??? (oh c'mon!!! Isn’t it obvious? hehehe).
Lastly, I’m a vocal kind of person in terms of showing my feelings.
I don’t have the courage to tell in front of someone’s face how
I really feel (if I like or hate that person) so
I just show it by actions or by singing (in short nagpaparinig) .
I also love playing guitar(but guitar doesn't love me :( )

acting like i'm sick to be exempted in our exam,
so that i have time to study...(pagtingin ko kasi
sa test paper, mahirap msyado!!!)

riding the jeepney from puan to toril
without paying my fare... (bad ako msyado no???)

dancing above the table during our js prom while the
president of our school and almost all the highschool
teachers watching over me. (tama! na man gud ko that
time so baga-baga na akong nawong... at least hindi
ako naghubad gaya ng iba!) i only take off one thing
hmmmm my sandals (para makabuylo kog sayaw eh!)

it was 7 am when i got to school (nung highschool pa ko)
too early 'coz it was exam week. when i'm about go down
in the jeep i was riding in, here comes my crush!!!
(kaila kag dungog na nako akong heart beat? bog bog bog!!!).
Sumakay s'ya sa jeep na sinasakyan ko,
so di na ako bumaba hanggang umabot sa Quirino
(pagkakataon na ito... grab the opportunity).
Sabay kaming bumaba then sakay ulit ako pabalik ng Matina
(late na tuloy ako... but no regrets! hehehe)

i was in the lobby that time waiting for my friends (BBcute)
having there class in C-rooms, when i saw my idol
standing in front the elevator... (survey the scene akong drama)
since mag-isa lang sya, sinabayan ko na though i don't have
any reasons para pumunta sa 4th floor (para magkasabay lang
dyud mi) i pretend that I've something important to do there...
(hehehe tanga kaayo kog nawong no???)

foOd tRip

After the long day in the community
(for our community exposure)
it's time for me to treat myself
with delicious foods in my favorite place
(lahat ng kainan! yun na yun!)
with my friends (da BBcute).
First stop at Mandarin where
my favorite steamed fish fillet
can be found (hmmm sarap talaga!)
sounds sosy place but the foods
were affordable, so no worries.

After that delicious dinner
it's time to go on our next kainan in Tsuru
not in Tsuru Restaurant but in
San Pedro street where lots of tsuru-tsuru foods
like fish balls, fried isaw, and
the all time favorite kwek-kwek were present
super affordable pa fit for me na nagtitipid
(nagtitipid ba? hehehe)
Having heavy loads 2 bags, 1 long envelop
and large umbrella go pa rin kami...
it only proves that we're serious in what we are doing
and nothing can stop usin having our food trip
'coz we believed in the saying that
"magbiro ka na sa lasing wag lang sa gutom!!!"
(meron bang ganun?)

It was so tiring but fun! the important
part there was the fact that we've enjoyed
each others company at the same time
I had time to enjoy myself with delicious foods
and relax myself after the long day
of our community exposure.

Food Trip is a medicine para sa mga taong gutom tulad ko,
food trip! food trip ! food trip! di nakaka over dose.

vAcatiOn hEre i cOmE

after all the stress and pressure I’ve experienced
brought by my studies, I’m so excited to welcome
the “end of the school year”----vacation here I come!!!

I was 16 years old then when we went to the hometown
of my father which can be considered as “barrio”. I
really love the place b’coz the people were friendly and
the house where we stayed for five days was near the sea.

I had a great time there with my family…
the food were taste good specially the
seafood my favorite---hmmm hipon!
At night I stayed in a cottage or something like “kubo”
with my cousins and some close friends and having
our “story telling” about ghost and extraordinary creatures
which was so popular in their barrio (it’s so katakot
but syempre so fun!!!)

The place was so romantic speacially late at night were
some of my elder cousins ---my kuyas--- played guitar,
i feel the touched of the air (super relaxing) and listen to
the sound of the sea water rushing to the shore……….
while waiting for even one star to fall (kahit isa lang!!!)
(diba? romantic masyado???!!!) and I could say that “that was
the best vacation I ‘ve ever had!!! (hope maulit pa!!!)
